2025 Bega Streetlight Festival Photo Exhibition
Call for Photographers
Photographers of all levels are invited to take part in the Bega Streetlight Festival Photo Exhibition 2025.
We are seeking images that reflect life in the Bega Valley: candid, unmanipulated, and authentic.
Capture the authentic spirit of life in the Bega Valley Shire — from everyday moments to stunning landscapes — and see your work light up Carp Street during the 2025 Bega Streetlight Festival!
20 finalists will get:
A $400 artist fee
Photo professionally printed on vinyl for display in shop windows for the duration of the Bega Streetlight Festival on 24 October
Entry Guidelines
Eligibility:
Open to all photographers (under 18’s must provide guardian consent)
Theme:
Images that reflect life in the Bega Valley Shire – candid, authentic, unmanipulated
Entry Fees:
$10 per image (up to 5 images).
Fee waivers available by request for those experiencing financial hardship.
Image Requirements:
JPEG or PNG, max 5MB. Minor edits (cropping, brightness, contrast) permitted. AI-generated or composite images will not be accepted.
How to Enter
Prepare up to five original images.
Complete the entry form.
Pay the entry fee as indicated on form (or contact us for a fee waiver if required).
Submit by midnight on Sunday 28 September, 2025.
Copyright & Permissions
Photographers retain copyright. By entering, you grant South East Arts, Bega Valley Shire Council, Bega Chamber of Commerce and the Bega Streetlight Festival a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to exhibit and promote your work in print and digital formats for non-commercial festival promotion and reporting.

The 2025 Bega Streetlight Festival is a collaboration between Bega Valley Shire Council, Bega Chamber of Commerce and South East Arts; proudly funded by the NSW Government’s Open Streets Program, led by Transport for NSW.
The 2025 Bega Streetlight Festival will light up Carp Street. Your photos could be shown in our shopfront windows!
