It’s National Volunteer Week 8-14 May.

Volunteers help make the Arts & Cultural world turn in South East NSW. You will find them at events, performances, galleries and festivals throughout the Eurobodalla, Bega Valley and Snowy Monaro Regional Shire Council areas. Volunteers make things happen, often doing the jobs no-one else wants to do.

For some of the festivals in our region, for example, they are doing everything from ticketing, collecting rubbish, organising performers and painting banners to entertaining kids, cleaning toilets and manning car parks – all in the name of arts and culture. Thanks vollies!

Many of our local organisations could not survive without their hardworking volunteers.

Would you like to give some of your time and/or expertise to a local arts or cultural organisation? Please contact us and we can put you in touch with the perfect group for you.
