Early Bird tickets on sale now for SHIFT: The Riverina’s own arts and cultural development event

Anyone who wants to see their region thrive and has an interest in the arts, community or culture is invited to book a ticket to SHIFT, the Riverina’s own arts and cultural development event.

SHIFT is a one-day event exploring the roles that the creative arts and industry play in transition and transformation. This may be the transformation of spaces, the transition to a creative economy, or the power of art to transform lives and communities.

It is a series of presentations and round table discussions with some of the country’s most interesting cultural leaders and an opportunity to meet with other people from our region to discuss ideas, projects, collaborations and issues.

Delivering the keynote presentation at SHIFT is festival director and passionate regional arts advocate, Lindy Hume. Also on the bill is Sydney art space director, Jess Cook; National Association for the Visual Arts director, Esther Anatolitis; creative business expert, Monica Davidson; and Creative Director at The CAD Factory, Vic McEwan (Narrandera).

So what can you expect:

  • A stellar program of speakers and the unique opportunity to speak with them in roundtable discussions
  • Some quick-fire presentations of local case studies highlighting the creativity of our region
  • Thought provoking discussions and opportunities to reflect and be inspired
  • Meet like-minded people willing to share ideas and resources
  • A few creative surprises

SHIFT will be held in Temora’s Town Hall on Friday 31 August.

Ticket prices start at $40 – EARLY BIRD PRICES END ON 20 JULY

There are several discounts available for those attending as artists, volunteers and Council affiliates.
