Four day intensive art workshop with John Forrester Clack, designed to encourage students to develop and explore their own aesthetics through paint, texture, mediums, glazing, construction methods and the surfaces of different grounds.

Day 1
The power of Change – Construction, Deconstruction and Reconstruction. Destroying with style – Discovery through
reconstructing anew.
Day 2
Light and the Art of Freedom –Through ‘black & white’ acrylic paint and ink you will be exploring: – The power of Light, of ‘risk’ in delivery, ‘action’ in mark making and where ‘failure’ is good.
Day 3&4
Art from ‘Within’ – Mood, Emotion, Spirit & Life. How do we express these complicated experiences? Through the act of painting; abstract, figurative or landscape, combined with the use of symbols and metaphors, we will try to create paintings that communicate what we believe, feel or experience.
