Come explore the art of Spoken Word Poetry in a friendly, supportive & encouraging small group environment,
at Mumbulla School Library, on Saturday 16th June, 9:30am – 1:30pm.
The workshop will be facilitated by the internationally acclaimed Spoken Word Artist, Fleassy Malay, an evocative & powerful speaker & coach originally from the UK. Now based in Melbourne, she runs the city’s acclaimed Women’s Spoken Word event, Mother Tongue.

Fleassy will guide the group through various processes exploring writing, speaking & performing. With plenty of fun and challenges along the way, the workshop will culminate in a small in-house performance within the group.
This workshop is open to everyone & you don’t need prior experience in performance.
All you need is just an interest in & passion for writing, poetry & a willingness to have a go!
Open to all ages, from young adults to the young at heart.
