Come and enjoy the south coast’s annual River of Art festival from 18 to 27 September. Resilience and Renewal is the theme of this year’s festival to celebrate the region’s creativity in the wake of the bushfires.
Because of COVID-19, some festival events have moved on line but many of the favourites will still be there including Open Studios, Art on Parade and workshops. And this year, there’ll be a new public art event called REVIVE with wall murals being painted in Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma over the course of the festival.
Come and see the public art trail that runs from Batemans Bay to Bermagui. Meet some of the innovative local artists who thrive in this beautiful and inspiring region. Explore multiple galleries, exhibitions, artists’ open studios, live music, performance, and a whole lot more creative and cultural activities.
River of Art spans venues from Durras, through Batemans Bay, Mogo, Moruya, Congo, Bodalla, Narooma, Tilba, all the way down to Bermagui. For program details, virtual open studios and more, go to their website – riverofart.com.au
