ARTESANATO, PRESENCE & Dystopian Playgound – Summer @ Spiral

Artesanato, Spiral Gallery’s Artists and Friends annual Summer Cash ‘n Carry exhibition, begins on Friday 30 November at 10am in Gallery 1.

Please join the artists for drinks at 5pm on 30 November. All welcome.

There will be lots of beautiful small and large art pieces, handmade pottery, jewellery, clothes, cards, glass, handcrafted wood and baskets, as well as paintings and prints, many of them specially suited for Christmas gifts, and at affordable prices.

Artists include Virginia Aland, Keith Coleman, Trish Collins, Sharon Cornthwaite, Tracey Creighton, Reiko Healy, Kathryn Hede, Helga Humbert, Cathy Jarratt, Deb Johansen, Emily Laszuk, MABEL + MAIMIE, Meea Knits, Tim Moorhead, Anneke Paijmans, Hilary Peterson, Gabrielle Powell, Steve Stafford, Diny Stewart, David Stocker, Tony Sweeting, Claudia Tasche, Judith Thomson and Johanna Weiss.

In Gallery 2, the Valley Potters and Imlay Crafts exhibition, PRESENCE, celebrates Christmas with quirky handmade ceramic treasures and special gifts to suit all tastes and budgets. Presence is on til 24 December 5pm.

Artesanato runs to 16 January 2019. Spiral is open Monday-Friday 10am-4pm and Saturday 10am-1pm. Note: extended opening hours from 9am-5pm from 17 November for the week prior to Christmas.

Your chance to indulge your family, friends and even yourselves with local, handmade objets d’art from the south coast’s finest artisans.

After Christmas, Dystopian Playground opens in Gallery 2 on 27 December, featuring watercolours by Lewis Dillon. Join the artist for drinks on Wednesday 2 January 5pm. Continues to 16 January 2019
