EOI South East Arts Board Positions

South East Arts NSW is calling for Expressions of Interest from suitable persons to join the South East Arts Board.

South East Arts is the regional development organisation for arts and culture in the Bega Valley, Eurobodalla and Snowy Monaro Shires. We actively assist the ongoing development of, and participation in arts and culture throughout the South East Region. Over the last few years South East Arts has delivered significant project achievements in supporting Aboriginal arts and cultural development, as well as establishing an arts and health strategy and launching a new Public Fund.

The South East Arts Board has a very positive, active, professional and collegiate board culture and is made up of 10 Members composed of 3 Council representatives and 7 skills-based co-opted people from the community. Board Members are appointed for a 2 year term and are eligible for reappointment for 2 further terms of 2 years each. Board Members can only serve the Board for a maximum of 6 years. The South East Arts Board meet 4 times per year in different locations around the south east region.

South East Arts is seeking 3 new skills-based Board Members from the community. The Board is particularly keen to hear from candidates with a skills-base not limited to but drawing from the fields of Human Resources, Fundraising, Philanthropy, Law, Arts Management, Arts and Health, Business, Indigenous Culture and the Disability Sector. We are seeking new members who are passionate about the community and have an appreciation of arts and culture and the role it plays in building and driving community.

EOI process and timeline Expressions of Interest should be received by 2 February 2018.
