Tim Draxl Performing Arts Scholarship


 
Actor/performing artist Tim Draxl has established a new performing arts scholarship for young people in the Snowy River Shire. The scholarship is awarded to young people between the ages of 10-18 who reside in the Snowy River Shire and display a shining talent in the performing arts. St Cecilia Music Scholarship


 
Recognising the disadvantages that local music students face compared with their metropolitan counterparts the Eurobodalla St Cecilia Music Scholarship association was formed in 1995 to provide assistance to young musicians in the area.  Applications open August. Far South Coast Living Artists Projects


 
The Far South Coast Living Artist Scholarship was set up to provide on going support for talented artists from the Far South Coast. The major objective is to provide opportunities for visual artists to develop excellence in their practices by providing mentorship, education, and financial and marketing support in a bid to retain them in the region whilst they work towards supporting themselves from their own art practice. www.livingartist.org.au

Basil Sellers Art Prize


 
The biannual prize is worth $15,000 and is open to artists living in the Eurobodalla, Bega Valley, Cooma-Monaro, the Snowy Rivers and Bombala shires. Bega Art Prize


 
The Bega Art Prize showcases the rich diversity of art, craft and design in the South East. It is a non-acquisitive prize and is open to artists living within the South East Arts region including Cooma Monaro, Eurobodalla, Bega Valley, Snowy River and Bombala Shires. 2011 All inclusive: in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Prize the field will include all media. PerfEx Batemans Bay Literary Awards


 
Open to the ABC South East listening area, seven sponsored prizes ranging from $400 to $100 will be awarded during the River of Art  Festival with closing date for the 2013 competition being Friday 29th March, 2013.  Entry forms available at www.perfex.org.au
